Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures Raises a Toast to Retiring President Mike Bowman. After 16 years of innovation and growth, Mike charts a new course, retiring as President of Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures. Joining in 2007, Mike ascended through the ranks holding the positions of Estimator, Project Manager, Vice President and promoted to President in 2015. His visionary and creative skills helped launch the company in 2015 to adopt a new employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) to become 100% employee owned. He is an accomplished leader with successful strategies yielding tremendous growth during his tenure at Lawrence. “Leaving is bittersweet,” says Mike, “but I’m confident Lawrence will continue to thrive under Dave Bess’s leadership. It’s been an honor being President of this phenomenal company and for the opportunity to work with many dedicated and talented individuals.” Mike will assist in the leadership transition and remain an integral part of the Board of Directors.
